East Alabama Medical Center is seeking a detail-oriented team member to maintain smooth clinic operations and provide exceptional customer service. You will handle phones, scheduling, billing, and patient accounts, while coordinating with physicians, patients, and insurance providers to ensure timely claims and payments.

The role requires strong computer skills (Word/Excel), multitasking, and reliable teamwork.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Typing ability and one year of computer experience.
• Required Registration/License/Certification.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred Education: Associates Degree in Business or health-related field.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance and coding processes preferred.
• 1-2 years healthcare/hospital experience.
• 1-2 years customer service experience.
• Preferred Registration/License/Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a pleasant, efficient, and consistent flow in daily clinic operations (phones, scheduling, faxing, scanning, patient accounts).
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, physicians, and insurance companies.
• Assist with claims and financial submissions and support revenue cycle activities.
• Communicate effectively with team members and external partners.
• Use Word and Excel for administrative tasks.
