Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Typing ability and one year of computer experience.
• Required Registration/License/Certification.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred Education: Associates Degree in Business or health-related field.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance and coding processes preferred.
• 1-2 years healthcare/hospital experience.
• 1-2 years customer service experience.
• Preferred Registration/License/Certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a pleasant, efficient, and consistent flow in daily clinic operations (phones, scheduling, faxing, scanning, patient accounts).
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, physicians, and insurance companies.
• Assist with claims and financial submissions and support revenue cycle activities.
• Communicate effectively with team members and external partners.
• Use Word and Excel for administrative tasks.
