Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year experience in patient financial services or insurance collections.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient billing and collection activities in assigned areas.
• Process payments, adjustments, claims, denials and refunds.
• Reconcile balances and pursue outstanding accounts with payers.
• Respond to patient and internal inquiries with excellent service.
• Work as part of the patient financial services team to reduce AR.
