You will explain financial policies, assist with forms, and collaborate with the billing team to resolve issues, while maintaining high customer service standards in a busy clinic setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related work experience in medical office settings.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with heavy phone volume and multiple computer systems.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication.
• Ability to work independently in a busy medical office.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families; conduct registration; obtain financial and insurance information.
• Review account information to optimize collections and reimbursements.
• Explain and obtain signatures on registration forms and legal documents.
• Provide financial counseling and resolve issues to promote service decisions.
• Serve as liaison between patient, billing, and payor; maximize service excellence.
• Meet productivity standards and document production; identify process improvements.
• May transport patients or assist with training as needed.
