Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior experience with hospital registration and prior authorizations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families and conduct the registration process.
• Verify insurance coverage, obtain authorizations, and document patient information.
• Explain financial policies and assist with financial counseling and assistance paperwork as needed.
• Serve as liaison between patient, billing, and payor to improve account receivables.
• Meet productivity standards and maintain accurate production logs and records.
• Perform various patient financial services tasks as assigned.
