South Shore Health in Weymouth, MA is seeking a Patient Financial Services Representative to manage the financial aspects of patient care. You will use the EPIC Billing System to prepare, submit, and follow up on hospital and physician claims, coordinating with insurers to resolve denials and discrepancies.

The role requires knowledge of healthcare billing regulations, strong data entry and communication skills, and the ability to work with multiple departments to resolve account issues.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of healthcare billing, insurance plans, codes, and reimbursement methodologies.
• Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills (MS Office).

Responsabilités

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Federal, State and Insurance billing regulations and code sets.
• Submit and follow up on hospital and physician insurance claims using EPIC.
• Interact with insurance companies to resolve denials or discrepancies.
• Submit claim corrections per payer regulations and hospital policy.
• Process aged accounts receivable via EPIC work queues and coordinate with denial management.
