Job summary

Variety Care is seeking a Patient Account Resolution Specialist to resolve outstanding patient balances and support the organization’s self-pay AR portfolio. You will work directly with patients to collect balances, set up payment arrangements, answer billing questions, and deliver outstanding customer service throughout the resolution process.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in customer service, billing, or office experience.
• Healthcare environment or patient collections experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contact patients regarding delinquent balances via phone and approved channels.
• Establish payment arrangements in line with policy.
• Negotiate and monitor patient payment plans within guidelines.
• Follow up monthly on active payment plans to ensure compliance.
• Send statements, notices, and balance communications.
• Document collection activities accurately and maintain records.
• Support front desk and other teams with patient billing questions.
