Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Business-related experience required.
• Strong computer skills required.

Responsabilités

• Document patient accounts with notes on all phone and personal contacts.
• Check status on claims for patients requesting follow up on their claim.
• Place telephone calls on outstanding A/R balances as directed by supervisor.
• Respond timely to messages left on voice mail.
• Pull and research EOBs to assist patients with questions on payments, network discounts, and copays which determines their balances.
• Direct and provide assistance to patients in a courteous and positive manner.
• Assist supervisor with duties and special projects daily; Collects money for hospital.
• Document and forwards patient complaints to supervisor.
• Receive and document phone messages for co-workers accurately and in a professional manner.
• Handle phone inquiries with courtesy, accuracy, and respect for confidentiality.
• Assist co-workers in the completion of daily tasks or special projects to support the department’s efficiency.
• Research, completes and documents refunds daily.
