Maryland Oncology Hematology is seeking a Patient Pre-Services Coordinator to join our team in Maryland. You will educate patients on insurance coverage, determine financial responsibility, and assist with payment arrangements to support access to cancer care.

Responsibilities include obtaining pre-authorization codes, updating patient demographics and coverage, and maintaining accurate documentation across systems.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three years patient pre-services coordinator experience required.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) required.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain insurance coverage information and educate patients on coverage, benefits, co-pays, deductibles and out-of-pocket expenses.
• Obtain pre-authorization or referral approval codes from Clinical Reviewer prior to treatment.
• Review patient account balance and notify front desk to meet with the patient.
• Ensure patient co-pay amount is correctly entered in the system or conveyed to front desk.

Formação académica

High school diploma or equivalent

3+ years patient pre-services coordinator experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
