Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program is seeking a Patient Benefits Coordinator II to provide front desk and patient benefits support acrossBHCHP sites in the Greater Boston area. The role involves registering patients, handling appointments, and assisting with insurance applications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor’s in related field preferred.
• Experience in patient benefits or health insurance support preferred (1–2 years).
• Familiarity with EPIC and health insurance programs beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Register new patients in EPIC and manage appointments across multiple sites.
• Process health insurance applications (MassHealth and others) for BHCHP patients.
• Maintain accurate insurance eligibility and submit pre-authorizations.
