Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a patient benefits or health insurance support capacity preferred.
• 2 years of experience in a clinical environment preferred.
• Knowledge of health insurance and entitlement benefits programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the EPIC system to register new patients and make appointments.
• Accurately process health insurance applications for patients.
• Review insurance eligibility on all patients presenting for scheduled appointments.

Skills

Bi-lingual proficiency in Spanish/English or Haitian Creole/English

Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite including Excel

Education

High school diploma or equivalency

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field
