Job summary

OneOncology in Nashville, TN is seeking a Patient AR Specialist to actively resolve patient inquiries and balances, working with Financial Counselors and Insurance Collectors. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to ensure timely resolution of balances.

The position involves reviewing aging reports, making referrals, calling patients, posting discounts, arranging payments, and maintaining AR accuracy while collaborating with care teams to support patients throughout

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Previous patient collections experience preferred.
Previous customer service or call center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Review aging reports daily and focus on highest balances.
Call patients to address account balances and send delinquency letters.
Post discounts to uninsured accounts and set up payment arrangements.
Coordinate with Insurance Collectors and Financial Counselors as needed.
Maintain AR inventory and respond to patient inquiries within 24 hours.
Assist in probate cases for deceased patients and handle bankruptcies.
Generate patient statements as scheduled and provide itemized statements upon request.
