Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years in medical collections, preferably oncology
• Strong knowledge of insurance policies and regulations for medical billing
• Experience with HCPCS/ICD/CPT oncology coding preferred

Responsibilities

• Review and follow up on 60+ day AR accounts
• Document collection activity and prepare reports for supervisor
• Contact carriers and patients to resolve balances
• Handle write-offs with proper documentation
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer requirements and regulations
