Job summary

OneOncology is seeking a skilled medical billing professional to manage monthly accounts receivable, follow up on resolutions, and handle insurance communication for proton, radiation therapy and radiology services. You will work with patients, physicians and insurers to ensure timely payments and accurate coding.

Candidates should have 3+ years in medical collections, knowledge of HCPCS/ICD/CPT codes, and experience with Medicare/Medicaid policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical collections, preferably in oncology.
• Radiation Oncology/Proton experience is a plus.
• Expertise in insurance policies and regulations related to medical billing, including Medicare/Medicaid.

Responsibilities

• Reviews monthly AR and 60+ day accounts; follows up for resolution.
• Documents collection activity and maintains logs for teams.
• Interacts with patients, physicians, and insurers to secure payments.
• Handles EOB review, write-offs, and adjustments with documentation.
• Maintains knowledge of HCPCS/ICD/CPT oncology coding and payer requirements.
