CCS Medical, Inc. is seeking a Patient Advocate Representative I - Remote (onsite in Charlotte, NC) to maintain patient satisfaction and ensure accurate, timely shipment of orders. You will set up new patient files, process orders, and provide exemplary customer service to patients.

This role requires handling multiple systems, managing consents, and collaborating with healthcare partners while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months in health care insurance verification or customer service preferred.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems and Microsoft products.
• Basic knowledge of billing, payer requirements, and HCPC codes preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, data entry accuracy, organization, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Process patient orders: update demographics, explain benefits, obtain consent, set order status, and process payments.
• Maintain patient profiles, enrollments, and basic workflow in line with procedures.
• Navigate iPIMS, Parachute Health, email, and queues to document and process orders.
• Obtain and validate required patient consents per procedures and privacy standards.
• Monitor work queues and resolve issues to ensure timely completion.
• Handle patient interactions, explain insurance, process payments, and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of core product lines to support education and processing.
• Build professional relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, and internal teams.
• Comply with Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and private insurance regulations.
