Job summary

Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV is seeking a full-time Patient Advocate to join our Patient Experience Department. The Patient Advocate serves as a resource for patients and families by facilitating timely resolution of concerns, complaints, and grievances and by coordinating the grievance process in accordance with organizational policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

This role collaborates with clinical and operational leaders to address concerns and supports service

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required; bachelor's preferred.
• Registered Nurse licensure is required.
• 3 years of position-related nursing experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate timely resolution of patient concerns, complaints and grievances.
• Coordinate the grievance process per organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to address concerns.
• Support service recovery and contribute to initiatives that strengthen communication and patient satisfaction.
