Responsibilities

• Interview patients to collect demographics and revenue cycle information.
• Register patients according to state and federal regulations and ensure correct admission class.
• Provide basic compliance counseling with HIPAA information and Medicare messaging.
• Assist patients with questions about financial arrangements and billing policies.
• Identify and collect patient financial responsibility when appropriate.
• Complete reports, work queues, and bedside registrations as needed.
• Schedule and register appointments for ancillary services and ensure accurate billing.
• Collaborate with clinicians and other departments to ensure a positive patient experience.
