Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of work experience in a front-desk/admissions environment.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities essential.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients in a positive, helpful, and courteous manner.
• Answers and directs calls; takes messages when needed.
• Directs visitors and patients to correct locations and assists with Portal questions.
• Obtains demographic and insurance information; verifies eligibility and updates in systems.
• Registers, admits, transfers patients and maintains discharge records accurately.
• Supports scheduling, billing reviews and patient flow to ensure efficient care.
