Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, customer service and communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Strong mathematical skills and problem solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of PC and software (Word, Outlook).
• Must be detail oriented and able to work in a team.
• Must register, admit, transfer patients and maintain discharges across systems.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients in a positive, helpful manner and directs calls and visitors.
• Obtains demographic and insurance information; verifies eligibility and updates systems.
• Collects and posts payments; issues receipts.
• Schedules and coordinates patient appointments and procedures.
• Maintains patient records in multiple systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
