Qualifications

• Associate's degree in healthcare or business administration.
• 3 years of experience within Patient Access of Business office setting.
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
• 3 years of Utilization of medical terminology in job setting.
• Knowledge in medical billing codes.
• 1 year of Knowledge of Epic Applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival.
• Collect accurate demographic and insurance information.
• Collect patient liability at time of service where known.
• Perform financial clearance on assigned accounts.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service while ensuring regulatory compliance.
