Job summary

Ascension Saint Joseph Oncology in Chicago seeks a Billing Specialist to review and process insurance explanations of benefits, manage debit and credit balances, contractual adjustments, and refunds. Day shift, full-time.

You will identify and resolve payment discrepancies, coordinate with the team, reconcile bank deposits with system payments, and respond to third-party inquiries to promptly resolve unwarranted balances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 1 year of applicable job-specific experience.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
