Job summary

Ascension is seeking a patient care assistant at the AMG Reiman Cancer Center in Franklin, WI to support physicians and nurses with treatments, document care, and help maintain a clean, safe patient environment. You will ensure accurate EHR entries, manage essential clinic logistics, and assist with room preparation and sterilization, contributing to smooth daily operations and patient safety.

• Assist physicians and RNs with patient treatments and delegated clinical procedures.
• Document patient care journeys, vital signs, and interview data in the EHR.
• Prepare and sterilize examination rooms to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Manage clinic logistics, including materials ordering and stocking supplies.

• Support physicians and Registered Nurses by skillfully assisting with patient treatments and delegated clinical procedures, contributing directly to positive patient outcomes and safety.
• Document patient care journeys, vital signs, and interview data accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) to ensure high-quality, legally compliant medical records.
• Maintain clinical readiness by preparing and sterilizing examination rooms and ensuring a consistently clean and safe environment for every patient visit.
• Manage essential clinic logistics, including materials ordering, stocking supplies, and handling patient correspondence to ensure smooth, efficient daily operations.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

What minimum requirements you’ll need

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.

Education

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
