• Full-time position requiring 1 mid/evening shift per week, on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, 11am-9pm CST

Job Summary and Qualifications:

As a Patient Account Collections Specialist, you will handle outbound calls, follow-up, and resolution of patient receivables while providing excellent customer service. This is a work-from-home position; residence within an HCA Hospital market area is required.

Responsibilities:

• Refer calls/accounts to appropriate parties based on inquiries; spend approximately 90% of your day on the phone
• Identify problem accounts and escalate as needed
• Update patient account records to document actions taken
• Work with patients and guarantors to secure payments on outstanding balances
• Maintain minimum production standards and achieve quality review scores
• Work within attendance guidelines and provide excellent customer service
• Collaborate professionally with team members and management

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous call center experience preferred
• Minimum one year related experience, preferably in healthcare
• Experience with healthcare revenue collections is preferred
• High-speed internet (25 MB download, 15 MB upload); Wi-Fi not permitted
• Ability to work uninterrupted during shift; bilingual skills are a plus but not required
