Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Patient Account Collections Specialist, you will handle outbound calls, follow-up, and resolution of patient receivables, providing excellent customer service. This is a work-from-home role; residing within an HCA Hospital market area is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Refer calls/accounts to appropriate parties based on inquiries. Spend 90% of your day on the phone.
• Identify problem accounts and escalate as needed.
• Update patient account records with actions taken.
• Work with patients and guarantors to secure payments.
• Meet minimum production standards and quality scores.
• Achieve acceptable collection volumes and work within attendance guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service and collaborate professionally with team members.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Call Center experience preferred
• At least one year of related healthcare experience preferred
• Experience in healthcare revenue collections is preferred
• High-speed internet (25 MB download, 15 MB upload); Wi-Fi not permitted
• Ability to work without interruption during shifts
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
