Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• General computer skills with word processing, spreadsheet, and email applications.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication with customers and management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve routine outstanding claims under supervision.
• Generate and analyze reports to identify and resolve patient account issues.
• Assist in resolving past due payments and outstanding balances.
• Ensure timely receipt of claim payments and reconcile data accordingly.
• Document activities thoroughly in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers or external vendors as needed.
• Mentor other staff when applicable and support team goals.
• Assist with special projects assigned by supervisor.
