Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the United States is seeking a Patient Account Representative - Collections to support collections operations. You will maintain databases, ensure timely payment receipt, and minimize bad debt while delivering excellent customer service to patients and vendors.

Key duties include identifying and resolving routine outstanding claims, generating reports, processing payments, and documenting activities. You may mentor staff and participate in projects.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related experience.
• General computer skills with Word, Excel, and email.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication with customers and management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve routine outstanding claims.
• Generate and analyze reports and work lists for account issues.
• Assist in resolving past-due payments.
• Ensure timely receipt of claim payments and reconcile data.
• May serve as a point of contact for customers or external vendors; mentor staff.
• Assist with various projects as assigned.
