Qualifications

• Health care experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree or equal experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the first point of contact for incoming transfer and admission requests, routing calls appropriately.
• Captures accurate patient demographics, referral details, presenting concerns, and operational information.
• Supports EMTALA-sensitive processes by ensuring intake documentation is complete and timely.
• Coordinates non-clinical aspects of transfer logistics with sending facilities, EMS, and receiving units.
• Documents call details in electronic health records and transfer systems with accuracy.
