Job summary

Mount Nittany Health is seeking an Patient Access Training and Quality Assurance Specialist to support onboarding and ongoing education for staff across patient access functions. You will help ensure accurate, patient-centered services and promote compliance with policies and standards.

Reporting to the Patient Access Manager for Training and Quality Assurance, you will develop materials, conduct evaluations, and collaborate with IT and leadership to optimize EMR workflows and training delivery.

Qualifications

• Supports onboarding and ongoing education for Patient Access staff.
• Familiar with Epic systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards through training.
• Develops training materials and job aids aligned with department standards.
• Evaluates competency and supports performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver group or one-on-one training for onboarding and continuing education.
• Maintain training records and monitor delivery success.
• Develop training materials and department documentation.
• Promote compliance with payer requirements and policies.
• Collaborate with leadership to meet departmental goals.
• Stay current on adult learning and training methodologies.
