Atrium Health is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor at Floyd Medical Center GA to oversee daily activities in Patient Access and support staffing, training, and performance management. You will ensure accurate registration, assist with cash handling, and drive department metrics.

The role emphasizes collaboration with managers, training of registrars, and adherence to regulatory requirements, with a focus on service quality and organizational values.

Qualifications

• Background in patient access and health insurance is required.
• Experience in healthcare billing, follow-up, and certification is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of government and state regulations (Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare) and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist leadership in meeting performance goals for Patient Access.
• Train registrars in patient access areas.
• Provide feedback on employee performance via audits and reports.
• Register and pre-register patients to support the team.
• Staffing of Patient Access areas.
• Assist with performance appraisals.
• Maintain department records on attendance, PTO, and counseling.
• Ensure attendance at mandatory classes and document.
• Represent Patient Access on operational issues.
• Cash management and audits in the facility.
• Produce reports for management.
• Coordinate with other Atrium departments.
• Promote Atrium Core Values.
