Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• 3+ years experience with competency in patient access, pre-service or registration.
• Ability to obtain a national certification in HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA within one year of hire.
• Previous Leadership Experience.
• Knowledge of federal or state government agencies including Medicare, Medicaid, VA or Charity Care programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates operational, technical and clerical support to improve department workflow.
• Plans and organizes workflows and prioritizes patients' needs.
• May lead a small team and mentor, develops educational programs for team members.
