Job summary

CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy is seeking an experienced patient access leader to oversee hospital-based operations across ED, main registration, admitting, and payer notification workflows.

You will serve as a subject-matter expert and escalate complex registration, insurance, and account issues while guiding staff in real-time to ensure timely and accurate access activities.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in patient access, healthcare registration, admitting, or a related access role.
• Prior experience functioning in a senior, advanced, or lead capacity within patient access or registration.
• Experience supporting hospital-based access areas, including Emergency Department, Main Registration, Admitting, or related workflows.
• Experience using electronic health record systems such as Epic and/or Meditech.

• Provides day-to-day operational leadership and workflow coordination for hospital-based patient access operations across assigned access areas.
• Acts as a subject-matter expert in patient access functions and serves as the first point of escalation for complex issues.

Pay Range

$19.87 - $28.06 /hour
