Job summary

Nemours seeks a Patient Access Supervisor for the Kingswood Clinic in Delaware to lead daily front-end operations, oversee registration and scheduling workflows, and ensure a positive patient and family experience.

You will coach staff, monitor staffing and workflow efficiency, drive process improvements, and collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to support clinic readiness, growth, and operational success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree is required.
• 3-5 years of related experience in patient access or ambulatory operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Patient Access staff across Primary Care and Specialty services.
• Oversee patient registration, scheduling, check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and customer service.
• Monitor staffing coverage and workflow efficiency to meet operational needs.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance management for team members.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
• Partner with clinic leadership to support goals, throughput, and quality initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with clinic opening activities, onboarding, and readiness planning for Kingswood.
• Lead patient access, registration, scheduling, or ambulatory teams.
