Job summary

CommonSpirit Health in Omaha is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor to lead the daily operations of the Registration department, coordinate staff activities, and ensure fast, accurate service for patients.

You will oversee prior authorization and scheduling processes, mentor staff, monitor performance, and drive process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Education requirements are High School/Diploma/G.E.D.
• Knowledge of regulations related to Admissions and Financial requirements.
• Strong scheduling and registration background in EMR systems (Meditech and/or Epic).

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the Registration department.
• Coordinate prior authorization and scheduling processes for staff and patients.
• Provide direction, supervise staff performance, and ensure high patient satisfaction.
• Monitor budget and staffing to meet objectives.
• Participate in staff interviews, onboarding and performance reviews.
• Identify opportunities for performance improvements and implement changes.
