Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or related field required.
• 5 years of work experience in a health care institution, with significant experience in Patient Access, Patient Accounts or related area preferred.
• Excellent customer service and problem escalation/resolution in a high-volume atmosphere.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and with others; leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, prioritize and monitor the job performance of all Patient Access staff.
• Develop, train and assign staff in Inpatient/ Ambulatory Registration, Pre-Registration, Insurance Verification, Financial Counseling, Discharge Processing, Cashiering and Bed Control.
• Ensure compliant delivery of services and support patient satisfaction initiatives.
• Collaborate with Patient Accounts to ensure timely data for account collections.
