• Greet patients politely and register for care in the computer system.
• Verify insurance and determine patient financial responsibility.
• Collect payments and manage outpatient charges.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge patients in Allscripts.
• Coordinate with units for bed assignments and admissions.
• Maintain bed board census and handle inbound calls.
• Uphold safety, HIPAA, and compliance standards.
• Mentor new staff and provide patient-focused service.
