Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) certification preferred or must be achieved within 6 months.
• 4 years of experience in hospital registration or related area.

Responsibilities

• Directly oversee daily registration activities to ensure standards and accuracy.
• Train admission staff and maintain competency checklists and documentation.
• Ensure staff trained on ADT, Cerner, E-mail, and insurance verification systems.
• Lead scheduling staff training on Cerner and scheduling policies.
• Monitor admission quality, audits, and staff improvement actions.
• Manage payroll records and assist with employee evaluations.
• Resolve concerns on duty and maintain appropriate coverage during shifts.
• Verify insurance eligibility and ensure correct collection of co-pays and deductions.
