Job summary

Saint Luke’s South Hospital in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Supervisor for Patient Access to oversee daily operations and ensure quality standards. This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree and related experience, with responsibility for staffing, training, and performance management.

You will train and coach staff, schedule coverage for evenings and weekends, monitor performance, and collaborate with Outpatient and Emergency Department teams.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 3 years of experience is required.
• Experience with patient registration is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and reviews standards and work procedures for Patient Access staff in accordance with established policies and practices.
• Plans work schedules, hours, areas of work, and job duties to ensure adequate staffing of Patient Access Representatives along with time keeping of staff.
• Interviews, selects, hires, evaluates, Patient Access Representatives.
• Conducts staff quality audits, coaching.
• Assists Department Manager with budgets.
• Reports monthly goals and accomplishments.
• Orders supplies for department.
