Job summary

Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, CA seeks a Patient Access Supervisor for Admitting. This full-time role supports registration, switchboard, and the physician answering service, reporting to the Director.

You will supervise staff, ensure accurate patient information, coordinate electronic billing and cashier operations, and collaborate with admitting, patient accounts, and other departments. Evening shifts.

Qualifications

• California Fire and Life Safety Card within 30 days of hire.
• 1 year supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises the Admitting and Communication departmental operations and staff.
• Oversees patient registration, switchboard and emergency paging, and physician answering service.
• Ensures complete, accurate information is obtained from patients in a courteous, professional manner.
• Coordinates electronic billing system and cashier office; ensures accurate final bills for all insurers.
