Providence Tarzana Medical Center is seeking a patient registration professional dedicated to a patient-focused, courteous, and efficient experience. You will interview patients/guarantors, explain hospital policies and financial responsibilities, and capture complete demographic and financial data into the ADT system with attention to accuracy.

You will identify appropriate payor sources, ensure timely pre-certification/authorization, and support seamless admissions processes while upholding

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• California Fire and Life Safety Card must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Coursework/Training: Some College.
• Upon hire: Certified Patient Account Tech certification.
• 2 years of experience in a hospital, similar medical setting, or physician's office.

Responsabilités

• Registers patients in a pleasant, professional, and timely manner.
• Conducts patient/guarantor interviews, explains hospital policies and patient rights.
• Ensures all demographic and financial data is accurately documented into the ADT system.
• Identifies payor source for routing of revenue and ensures pre-certification/authorization as required.
