Job summary

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• California Fire and Life Safety Card required within 30 days of hire.
• Some College coursework preferred.
• Certified Patient Account Tech certification upon hire.
• 2 years of experience in a hospital, similar medical setting, or physician's office.

Responsibilities

• Register patients in a professional, timely manner.
• Interview patients/guarantors and explain policies and patient rights.
• Document demographic and financial data in the ADT system.
• Identify payor sources and route revenue accordingly while staying compliant with authorization protocols.
