Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors in person and by phone.
• Verify and update patient demographics, insurance, and registration in the EHR.
• Schedule appointments to optimize patient satisfaction and resource use.
• Collect co-payments and document payments in the EHR.
• Inform patients about fees, discounts, and financial obligations.
• Serve as first point of contact and direct inquiries to the correct staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all records.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support patient flow and documentation.
• Participate in scheduling improvements and recall outreach programs.
