Billings Clinic seeks a Patient Access Specialist to greet and register patients, collect demographics and insurance data, and schedule appointments. The role requires coordinating with ED, labs, and endoscopy, ensuring accurate information and smooth patient flow.

You will educate patients on admissions, assist with co-payments, and maintain a compliant front desk operation within a Magnet-recognized health system. This part-time position offers varied shifts and opportunity for growth.

• Greeting and registering patients with accurate demographic and insurance information.
• Scheduling appointments and coordinating patient flow.
• Verifying insurance information and patient rights.
• Providing courteous reception and front desk support.

Responsabilités

• Supports mission and department philosophy at Billings Clinic.
• Completes registration and demographic/insurance data collection.
• Pre-registers and ensures admissions are scheduled in advance when possible.
• Coordinates with patients and providers to verify insurance.
• Educates patients on admissions processes and patient rights.
• Performs reception duties for LAB/endoscopy/triage areas.
• Maintains chart flow and filing per HIM procedures.
• Initiates co-pay collections according to insurance requirements.
• Maintains cash drawer and daily reconciliation.
• Identifies growth needs and adheres to safety standards.
