Qualifications

• Some college or healthcare focused classes preferred.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service skills.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilités

• Greet and register patients and collect demographic and insurance information.
• Schedule appointments and collect co-payments where applicable.
• Support anesthesia? Not specified; ensure correct patient flow.
• Verify insurance information and input into hospital system for reimbursement.
• Educate patients on patient rights and admissions conditions; obtain signatures.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and assist front desk in patient care transitions.
• Assist in various admission areas including ED triage or discharge desk, PAT Lab and endoscopy as assigned.
