Job summary

Responsibilities

• Create initial electronic health record for patients.
• Check in and register patients; verify demographics and insurance info; collect co-pays.
• Explain insurance coverage and refer to Financial Advocates when needed.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Possess strong customer service to greet patients and assist with transportation or interpreter services.
• Monitor and manage electronic health record queues per department process.
