Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Pool Patient Access Specialist 1 to support patient registration and access to services at our Spring Hill campus. Under supervision, you will gather demographic, clinical, and financial information to create accurate hospital accounts and verify insurance eligibility.

You will interview patients, collect copays, explain financial responsibilities, and work with nurses and insurance carriers to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with EHR and health care software preferred.
