Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Patient Registration Clerk to perform registration, insurance verification, and switchboard duties across Canton Potsdam Hospital locations. The role emphasizes high-quality patient service and accurate data entry in EPIC, with room for professional growth.

Training is full-time for approximately three months, after which shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in customer service, admin, and/or data entry.
• Familiarity with EHR systems (Epic) and medical terminology.

Responsabilidades

• Interview patients and families to collect demographic, financial, and medical information.
• Verify insurance coverage, eligibility, and benefits; collect balances.
• Operate hospital switchboard, route calls, and assist visitors.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Support onboarding and quality improvement initiatives.
