Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year healthcare office experience and strong customer service preferred.
• Proficient in inpatient/outpatient/ED registration.
• Pre-register patients using EPIC when scheduled.
• Accurate entry of demographics, insurance, and financial data.
• Verifies CMS-related medical necessity and coverage information.

Responsibilities

• First contact for visitors; handle customer service and patient registration.
• Provide financial clearance and schedule check-ins.
• Collect payments and verify insurance information.
• Manage compliance and ensure smooth patient workflows.
• Prepare patients administratively and financially for visits.
• Update and verify the electronic health record (EHR) entries.
