Job summary

Sanford Health Vermillion Clinic is seeking a Patient Access Representative to deliver exceptional patient service in person or by phone. You will greet patients, verify demographics, and support registration, scheduling, and financial processes in a PRN role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary education helpful.
• One year of work experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
• Medical terminology helpful; customer service skills essential.
• Six months' customer service experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify demographics, create and route documents.
• Inform patients about documents and collect signatures as needed.
• Establish and assign financial responsibility and assist with payments.
• Operate multi-line phone and coordinate scheduling and referrals.
• Prepare charts, coordinate patient information and telemed appointments.
