Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in call center, healthcare, or customer service setting.
• Experience with scheduling and registration systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and pre-registers outpatient procedures/appointments from physicians’ offices, patients, or other departments.
• Obtains patient demographics and insurance information to ensure complete appointments.
• Performs pre-authorization and benefit verification with payers.
• Maintains accurate documentation and adheres to confidentiality policies.
• Communicates schedule changes and discrepancies to relevant departments.
• Supports patient financial counseling and post-registration processes.
