Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong PC skills including Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good typing and data entry skills.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and pre-registers OP procedures/appointments via phone, fax, or lead systems.
• Obtains accurate patient demographics and insurance information.
• Uses scheduling software and maintains good public relations.
• Performs appointment triage to meet patient and specialty needs.
• Provides complete exam preparation instructions and minimizes scheduling conflicts.
• Completes eligibility and benefit analyses and obtains necessary authorizations.
