Atlantic Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative to handle patient-facing registration and related insurance tasks in Pompton Plains, NJ. You will verify information, collect co-pays, and liaise with patients, providers, payers and others for post-care account resolution.

This role requires a HS diploma, 1+ year in Patient Access or related area, and EPIC EMR experience. Per diem with day shifts and alternating weekends available within a large health system offering comprehensive

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs when needed.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• EMR experience, preferably EPIC.
• Minimum 1 year in Patient Access or related field.

Responsabilités

• Register patients at point of entry with accuracy and courtesy.
• Verify patient information, collect required documents, and assist with insurance tasks.
• Communicate patient responsibilities and status to patients and providers.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient privacy.
